Pumba Safari Cottages

Pumba Safari Cottages is a great budget Lodge in Queen Elizabeth national park. The lodge is located in a prime wildlife area of the park in Kyambura overlooking Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Kyambura gorge as you look along the rim of the western rift valley in Uganda. With a view over a rich animal kingdom you might spot elephants coming to enjoy the waterhole in view from Pumba Safari Cottages. Cottages

At Pumba Safari Cottages, they have five cozy cottages where we offer you a lovely accommodation by Queen Elizabeth national park. Each cottage has comfortable beds that can be set up as a twin, double or single room as well as a triple bed option for four of the cottages. Attached to each bed is a mosquito net with a door for easy access to keep you safe from mosquito bites.

For the interior decorations, they use local materials and crafts in the design to create a cozy setting. In the rooms in our lodge by Queen Elizabeth national park you find hangers for your things as well as luggage stands to store your bags.

All our cottages are self-contained having a bathroom with shower with warm water. To heat the water, you use solar water heaters combined with fire wood when needed. There is electricity in all rooms so that you can charge your phones and cameras without problem.

We have verandas with seats on all cottages so that you can enjoy the nature around and relax after your adventures in Queen Elizabeth national park. Each veranda has a roof so you can be in the shade during the warm hours of the day.

Restaurant

At Pumba Safari Cottages, they are happy to welcome you for a tasty meal in our elevated restaurant looking out over the treetops and over the endless view of the savannah.

They serve continental breakfast with your choice of eggs, fresh fruits, juice and bread as well as tea or coffee. For lunch and dinner, we work with a set menu so please let us know when booking if you have any special diet or food allergies we should take into account. If you wish to have a packed lunch or breakfast for your adventures in Queen Elizabeth national park it can be arranged as long as you let us know the day before.

Local Ugandan food – They like to incorporate a bit of the local Ugandan food in our menus to let you get a taste of for example matoke, g-nuts, beans, cassava and other local foods. A dinner or lunch of local food can be arranged if you are interested, just talk to our team and they will arrange it for you.
