Rushaga Gorilla Haven lodge is located near the gorilla trail head for Rushaga sector in Bwindi. This place has more gorilla families and also is also where tourists go for the gorilla habituation experience. The location of the lodge is perfect for stunning views of the numerous Kigezi hills and the Virunga volcanoes.
Rushaga Gorilla Haven lodge has 12 cottages for accommodation. They are spacious, well-furnished and decorated and have en-suite bathroom and toilets. Their verandas are large enough for guests to relax, sip a drink and admire the beauty of Bwindi. Their rooms are in categories of single, double, twin, triple and family room occupancies. Getting there
Rushaga Gorilla Haven lodge is located about 6 kilometers from Nyanamo trading centre, in Rushaga area in Kisoro district. It can be accessed by road or air. From Kampala or Entebbe, it takes about 10 hours by road and from Kigali it takes about 7 hours.
By air from Entebbe international airport or Kajjansi to Kisoro airstrip, it takes about one hour and a half. From the airstrip to the lodge, guests are transferred by road.
