Simba Safari lodge : Simba safari Camp is renowned for excellent hospitality, is nestled atop a hill overlooking Lake Kikorongo on the edge of Uganda’s most popular Queen Elizabeth National Park, with panoramic views across the park’s extensive savannah plains teeming with wildlife as well as Lakes George and the famed Kazinga Channel.
It is the closest accommodation to Queen Elizabeth national park’s Kasenyi plains on the edge of Lake George, the famed mating grounds for the Uganda Kobs and thus the most preferred area for game viewing drives. It is also closest to the other areas of northern Queen Elizabeth National Park, including the Mweya Peninsula and the Kazinga Channel; well known for launch cruises, close range game-viewing as well as bird-viewing. There is also an opportunity to go for guided chimpanzees tracking in Kyambura Gorge.
Guest accommodation comprises 09 Twin/Double Rooms and 02 Triple Rooms all en-suite, 02 Family Cottages each with two bedrooms (one King and one Twin), a common living room, one extra bed and a shared bathroom for all as well as 03 Dormitory rooms with 3, 5 and 10 double-decker beds all with shared/common bathroom facilities and a private camp site (guests please bring own camping equipment). Rooms also have wall fans for warmer days, lounge seat, a verandah with two ‘directors’ canvas chairs’ and clothing rack, all beds fitted with a mosquito net as well as consistent hot and cold showers. Other amenities include, an extensive lounge, a well-stocked bar, restaurant serving excellent continental dishes and free Wi-Fi in the public areas.
Rooms
Ensuite rooms – Simba Safari Camp features nine double/twin rooms and two triple rooms. The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished with two single beds or a double bed and mosquito nets. En-suite is a bathroom with running water and flushing toilet. Part of the floor is covered with natural pebble stones, giving your feet a pleasant massage while taking a shower. The water is heated by a special solar energy system. Moreover, each room features its veranda where you can relax or read a book while enjoying your privacy.
Family cottages – Interested in visiting Queen Elizabeth with the whole family? Then book our family cottage; a comfortable accommodation that allows you to stay close to your family. The family cottage consists of two bedrooms, a fully equipped bathroom and a living room with an extra bed. Also a spacious veranda is available to sit comfortably with your family. The family cottage takes a maximum of 5 people.
Dormitory rooms – For those who are more on a budget, Simba Safari Camp offers three mixed dormitory rooms, with three, five and ten double-deckers. All double-deckers are provided with a mosquito net. Adjacent to the dormitory rooms is a common shower and toilet block with hot and cold running water.
Campsite – A well-maintained campsite with shared washing facilities is available for our guests who wish to bring their own tent.

Restaurant – At the main lodge you will find an open air restaurant where delicious and affordable meals are served. The meals are prepared with care, giving you a real taste of the African cuisine. Lunch and dinner can be ordered from the a-la-carte menu and sometimes buffet is served.
Bar – Adjacent to the restaurant is a well-stocked bar where you can have a refreshing soda or cold beer. In the mornings, a wakeup call can be arranged with fresh coffee or tea served at your veranda. A great start for your early morning game drive!
Lounge area – An open lounge area is furnished with comfortable chairs, a great place to unwind after an exciting safari day. A TV with DSTV is available as well.

Dietary requirements – Please inform us in advance about any special dietary requirements so that the lodge is aware to prepare for you.
Drinking water – It is not recommendable to drink water from the tap. Bottled mineral water is available at the restaurant and bar to thrill while on Uganda Safaris Tours .
Power supply – The main lodge and rooms are equipped with solar powered electricity. However, due to the environment, the solar system may not charge as expected. In this case kerosene lanterns are provided at the reception. We kindly request you to use the power in an eco-responsible way and turn off the lights when leaving the room. Adapters – cameras and mobiles can be charged in the restaurant area.
