Source of the Nile river : The River Nile is the longest river in the world and the source of the Nile is found in Uganda. History of the Nile
River Nile is about 6696 kilometers long and it also consists of the white Nile and the blue Nile. In 1858 the source of the Nile was discovered by John Hanning Speke.
The term Nile was derived from the Greek word Neilos which means river valley or valley.
