5 days Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth national park safari is a wildlife viewing tour which will start and end in Entebbe and you will visit destinations including Lake Mburo national park for exciting nature walks and game drives and you will also enjoy a game drive and boat safari along the Kazinga channel in Queen Elizabeth national park.

Detailed itinerary 

Day 1: pick up and drive to Lake Mburo national park

You will be picked up from Entebbe international airport on the first day of your safari and your guide will welcome you for the safari in Uganda. After a short briefing, you will start the 4 hour journey to Lake Mburo national park and check in at the lodge and prepare to have lunch.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive and see different wildlife species in the savannah plains including giraffes, zebras, antelopes, warthogs among others. After the game drive in Lake Mburo national park, you will be driven to the lodge to prepare for dinner and to spend the night.

Day 2; nature walk and afternoon boat safari

You will have breakfast at the lodge and prepare for a morning guided nature walk around the savannah plains of Lake Mburo national park. you will be accompanied by a ranger guide during the walking safari as you get closer to nature and also spot wildlife species in the wilderness like antelopes, zebras and buffalos among others.

After lunch, you will engage in an afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo and see different wildlife species by the shores of the lake such as hippos, elephants, buffalos, crocodiles among others. After the boat safari, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park

You will start the day with breakfast early at the lodge as you prepare for a morning game drive around Lake Mburo national park in search for the various animals found at the destination like giraffes, zebras, buffalos among others.

After the morning game drive, you will start the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park which will take about 4 hours and you will have a stop for lunch. Your guide will drive you to the lodge for check in as you prepare for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Game drive and Kazinga boat Cruise

You will wake up early and have breakfast and your guide will take you on a morning game drive around Queen Elizabeth national park. During the game drive around the Kasenyi plains, you will search for wildlife species around the savannah plains such as elephants, lions, impalas, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards, hippos and buffalos among others. 

After the game drive, you will visit the Katwe salt lake and get to know how salt mining is done by the locals and also visit the craft shops. You will also have lunch and in the afternoon go for a boat ride along the Kazinga channel where you will see different wildlife species around the water such as elephants, buffalos, crocodiles, hippos as well as different bird species. After the boat safari, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: drive to Entebbe

On the last day of your safari, you will have breakfast at the lodge in Queen Elizabeth national park and prepare for the drive back to Entebbe with a stop for lunch. You will be dropped off at Entebbe international airport which will bring the safari to an end.
